Enrollment
Any child, regardless of race, color or creed, is eligible. The child must be no younger than 2 years nor older than 5 years of age by December 1 of the school year. (All children in the toddler and preschool classes must be 2, 3 & 4 years of age respectively on or before December 1 of the school year. All children in the tween class must be 2 1/2 or older on their first day of school). Every child must have a completed application, medical form and a copy of a birth certificate on file before attending our program.
Every family must have the following forms completed before attending Children’s Workshop: 1) Student Information form; 2) medical form; 3) FIA Clearance form; 4) Volunteer form; 5) Handbook Statement; 6) White Field Trip Emergency Card; and 7) Copy of Birth Certificate.
Closed Registration for the following school year is held on January 10th at 6PM for families with children currently enrolled at Children's Workshop. Alumni Registration (those families that have had children attend in the past) is on Junuary 11 through January 17 during school hours. Open registration for the general public will be held on January 17 at 6PM. At the time of registration, the registration fee and a one-month tuition deposit are due. This deposit will be held and used for the January 2012 tuition.
Toilet Training Policy
Your child must be toilet trained to attend our Preschool 3's and Pre-K Programs. We are not licensed by the state of Michigan to change diapers in our preschool classrooms. It is not necessary that your child be potty trained in our Toddler and Tween programs.
Tuition Refunds 11/12 school year
To receive a full refund of the January 2012 tuition deposit, you must notify Children's Workshop no later than May 27, 2011. In the event that the child withdraws mid-year, a minimum if four weeks written notice must be given.
